Process X-Ray Status Window

The Status Window, which can initially be brought up from the menu

Window > show Status

shows basic status information. Mostly this contains receiving heartbeat messages from other client programs.

The checkboxes in the control section perform the following:

Auto scroll - When this box is checked, the status message list will automatically scroll to each newly added message.
Agent is broadcasting - When this box is checked, Process X-Ray’s agent (endpoint system extension) will broadcast is Bonjour service (used by Network Radar and x-ray-client) beyond the local computer. This should normally be unchecked; however, when running in a virtual machine in VMware Fusion, for clients like x-ray-client to connect to Process X-Ray’s agent, this box needs to be checked during the initial connection by the client. Once the client is connected, you can uncheck this box.
