First time starting the sensor
Apple takes the protection of its users very seriously. The information that Network X-Ray accesses could be dangerous in the hands of malicious software or a company with bad intentions, so Apple makes sure you really, really want to run the software accessing this information.
If this is the first time you run the application, Apple will tell you the sensor’s extension is blocked until you confirm that you want to allow it. Click “Open Security Preferences” to grant the sensor the necessary privileges.
