Original Motivation for Network X-Ray

Network X-Ray began as one-part test of Apple’s new System Extension frameworks and one-part demonstration of how much information network security analysts are losing because of new technologies, new development practices, and new business practices. The video above captures this effort.

After posting the video there was enough interest that we decided to move from demonstration technology to a complete product for anyone to use.
