This section describes what you can do using the lighting menu.

The Lighting menu is in the “Menu” button in the lower left corner.

 

Lighting menu

The lighting menu is found by pressing the “Menu” button in the lower-left corner and selecting “Lighting” (see red arrows in the top image).

The lighting menu lets you select between 6 different lighting modes.

The currently active lighting mode has a checkmark next to it (see green circle).

Background content

The first word of each menu item refers to the back source (see red grouping in lower image).

ARBot lighting

The second word of each item refers to how the ARBots are lit (see green grouping in lower image).

Virtual-Room

Virtual-Room is the exception. It replaces your environment with a virtual room.

 

Video-Natural

The background is directly from the video camera on your device. It is the room you are in.

The ARBots are lit with natural lighting.

 

Dark-Natural

The background is dark (black).

The ARBots are lit with natural lighting.

 

Fire-Fire

The background is a fire at a beach. In this case, the background isn’t true 3D but is like a fishbowl surrounding you.

The ARBots are lit with the fire.

 

Dark-Fire

The background is dark (black).

The ARBots are lit with the fire from the Fire-Fire menu item.

 

Video-Fire

The background is directly from the video camera on your device. It is the room you are in.

The ARBots are lit with the fire from the Fire-Fire menu item.

 

Virtual-Room

The background is a virtual room with stone walls and a soft fire-like glow near one wall. There are stars overhead.

The ARBots are gently lit by the fire and the stars above.
